Change of Plans

I wanted to let you all know that there were not enough funds for me to leave in January.

Now to explain why this is good news.

The Lord had already been putting autumn on my heart. I was just impatient to be out the door and didn’t listen well. This gives me time to complete fundraising work there for the whole year. In addition to this, I recently learned some of my transfer credits from High school haven’t been accepted by Front Range. This gives me another semester to save money and take those classes.

Right now, I would really appreciate your prayers for wisdom and trust in God. I believe that the way this has worked out is God’s will, and I don’t see anything I could have done differently. That being said, I’m still somewhat disappointed and inclined to look at this as a failure. Please pray that I would learn from this and it would be good preparation for work in London.

An Update

Hello Everyone,

First off, I would like to thank you for your prayers. I have been encouraged lately, even as paperwork and preparations continue to come. Currently, I'm trying to complete the semester of school strong. This involves several major tests and around 60 more Clinical hours in an internship I'm working through in addition to fundraising. Blog Launch - 6 Week Payment Deadline

Hello Everyone!

So, this post - as stated above - marks the 6 week deadline before I need to have all of my funding in. Things are rushing along. I've turned in my notice at work and will be leaving in January. Thank you so much to all who have contributed and for your prayers. I look forward to sharing with you how God continues to work in this.

Tonight and tomorrow I'll be speaking about Greater Europe Mission and London City Mission before the congregation of Grace Church in Longmont. Please pray that I am able to communicate the message effectively.
